Post 5: Introduction plus body and conclusion

                
Immigrants are becoming a conflictive topic in the politic scenario, specially looking at the upcoming elections. For this topic usually you can identify easier the most radical opinions, the most nationalist ones, and the utopic freedom ones.
This topic needed a lot of researching and pondering to give a correct opinion. It can be said, with property, that there are more positives on the arriving of immigrants than the negatives in their arrival. They are used to do jobs that national workers doesn’t want to do, they enrich our culture, and stimulates the economy, buying things here with the money they make. They don’t steal jobs as there is used to say, they just get job like any other kind of people, there is no prove for the affirmations of “increase of delinquency” or their “bad habits”. Above all, we support the main idea that the arriving of immigrants is not intrinsically good or bad, it depends primarily on the culture, the society that predominates in the territory. We can see this in the in the differences that people usually do between “white” and “black” immigrants, and the prejudices that people do about this. Immigrants are people like any other and can be good or bad, but the special condition of immigrant is not what determines this, is the variability in humans and the way that societies receive them.



In the first image, there is a bars graphic that shows the average age of immigrants, that shows a clear tendency to the young and adult type of immigrant, people that comes to work like any other person does, we can see the peak (in the 3 years) in the 20-35 years old range, followed by the 0 to 19 that, if aren’t people able to work, are sons and daughters of workers.
In the second graph we can see the rate of poor people between immigrants and people born in Chile, showing that in both populations, there is a similar proportion in the existence of poor people in both groups.

Looking at those graphics, we can conclude that immigrants doesn’t mean intrinsically poorly, bad habits, no working people, or anything specially bad, they in general reflects what the society have for them, there are poor Chileans as poor immigrants, rich Chileans and rich immigrants, so the real problem is deeper than the immigration, there is a problem with the society that obviously just realize the worst things about different people.

What country i would like to visit? If someone asks me what country i would like to visit, actually, i have not an unique answer, but i can say that there are two categories for me:  fully natural beautiful places and cultural places. GPOY (not me)

Well, I am not a person who like photos too much, specially photos of me, but there is a good photo, of one of the best things in the world, a dog, a cute dog (look that nose). She, the cute Golden retriever of the photo is Kyra, she is my friend from like 6 years Since I born, we always had pets, always dogs which lived a lot with us, first were Mimi and patapata, them were mom and daughter, both typical Chilean kiltros, a bit of black, brown and white hair, medium size and just normal behaviors. The first one (Mimi) died when I was a child, I remember she drowned with something :(  , then was only patapata, which was with us until something like 2009, we suffered a lot when they gone :(( Kyra arrived at our house because one of my uncles know somebody who was gifting puppies, and asked to us if we want one of them, at the start it was a hard decision, dogs are a responsibility and all that kind of things, but at the end we decided to keep her, also two of my cous...

Postgraduate studies

As a student, when I think in my future, the first thing that comes to my mind is to keep studying, probably because I am used to. So, what I would study after ending my bachelor? I am studying anthropology, and planning to pick the archaeology specialty.  So, when I finish my anthropology-archaeology studies, I would like to delve into the archaeologist duty, because I really enjoy studying it and I like to finish what I do in the most completely way as possible, that means that I want to get all the knowledge related to archaeology, as far as possible. Also, there is the fact that in this moment, the postgraduate studies are very common, so thinking in future work activity, it may help me to get better Jobs. For doing what I want and what I may need, I want to get a master’s degree in archaeology in the University of Chile, and then, in a farther future, get a doctorate, in archaeology, probably in USA, mainly because that doctorate doesn’t exist in the university of Chil...
