Post 3: Peer review

Hello, starting this course, our teacher told us about peer reviewing and said that It means reviewing a written done by other person to help and improve the final text. The peer reviewing has an important application in the academic world, a lot of people uses this tool to improve their publications because sometimes, when you write something, there can be some mistakes that you are not going to see because they can be ideas deeply rooted in your thinking. When someone read an unfinished text, making the right questions trough the reading, it is easier to find mistakes. Welcome, in this free topic blog, I am going to talk about one of my actual hobbies, playing volleyball. I started playing volley last year, in school, I learned a bit, but not that much. Nowadays, I am training with the people of the team of the campus Juan Gomez Millas, I can say that this is now more than a hobby, or that is what I want, I enjoy improving and I expect being able to play better and with better people. Well… Volleyball is a sport in which participates six persons in each team (with its respective bench). In each side of the court, separated for a net at 2,42meters (men, 2,24 meters woman), there must be 1 setter, or the one that make the second touch (out of 3) and gives the pass to the spiker and 5 spikers, 2 of them attack from the left (Left side hitters), 2 from the middle (Middle blockers) and 1 from the right (Opposite hitter). Back in the days, gadgets were a lot different than those which we know in the present. Older gadgets were bigger, heavier, and operated through physical mechanisms, which required more space and hence were heavier. Nowadays our gadgets are smaller and lighter, even if they have more utilities, because the mechanisms in general are not physical ones, they works by using a different kind of energy, the electricity. This new gadget keeps going in the direction of this kind of evolution in the engineering-scientific invention area, and also have a focus is in the improvement of the life quality of the society. We are talking about the new smart watches.
